Hack Hour
Hack Hour is an initiative by Secure Purple where a group of security researchers and hackers come together for specific hours to hack collaboratively. The targets vary, sometimes focusing on bug bounty programs and other times on penetration testing projects.
Each hacker brings their own specialty, and when they come together, these unique skills and expertise are shared with others, creating a dynamic and collaborative environment. This exchange of knowledge often leads to remarkable achievements. Hack Hour began during the COVID-19 pandemic and now takes place either once a week or twice a month.
During Hack Hour, participants sit together and work on their targets, sharing tricks, techniques, skills, and collaborating on projects. This not only enhances individual capabilities but also fosters a strong sense of community and teamwork among the hackers
Hack Hour is not only for experts but also for newbies who want to learn from the experts and get hands-on experience with new techniques and skills. We celebrate successes during Hack Hour and support each other when things don’t go as planned.
